The restaurant is located in the restored Barn and is managed by the Eha family. Apart from the main restaurant with its rustic and comfortable ambience we have a breakfast room and the ‘St-Georgs-Stüble’, a private function room. The restaurant can accommodate 115 people. The sophisticated menu features regional specialities including - but not limited to - steak or roast beef from our own Angus Cattle, venison from our own deer park, local trout, and ‘Unkrautsalat’, a local salad delicacy. On a hot summer’s afternoon you can spoil yourself with cake and ice cream in our beer garden in front of the guest house and in the evening you can enjoy a glass of wheat beer in the company of other guests. – delivery and grocery ordering service
Our bread delivery and advance grocery order service make self-catering easy. At the farm we sell venison, apple juice from the Danube Valley Nature Park, or regional honey and fresh bread made in Gutenstein. Once a week on Wednesdays (starting at Easter) we bake Dennetle (Schwäbische Flammkuchen) in the clay oven by the bbq. The BBQ area near the hut by the river can be used any time (we have firewood for sale) . You may take drinks from the bar fridge in the hut, write them up on the list and pay for them later. Our herb garden is located at the entrance to the farm and you are free to help yourself to chives, mint and and the other herbs which grow there. Scissors for cutting the herbs hang on the fence.
