Farming

We are full time farmers and own approximately 70 hectares of fields and pastures. We are a state of the art operation and own cattle of the ‘Deutsch-Angus’ breed with 40 breeding cows which give birth to and rear one calf each year. We run the cattle in free range paddocks almost the whole year round and during winter are fed with our own hay and grass silage.

Children are welcome here. They can help us out a little and even ride on the tractor with us. They enjoy observing us all day and ask lots of questions like ‘What is silage?’ and ‘Where are the purple cows?’
